Hey! Howdy! Greetings! Salutations!


If you're reading this, then you've somehow miraculously stumbled upon the very first post on my brand-spanking-new blog, Whimsical Scribbles. I wanted to do everything within my power to avoid a cheesy "first post", so decided to collate everything I thought you needed to know about me in a sort of fact file. If any fellow new bloggers read this and want to use it as a way to kick-start their blogging, then they are welcome to do so, but as I doubt there is anyone actually reading this then I think the chances of that happening are pretty unlikely.


I'm Olivia, and I've got a long summer of nothing stretched out in front of me. I need something to do, something to create and work on, something that I will be proud of in years to come. I've always been a rambler, so I thought "Why not create a place where I can ramble online in posts about things/people/places I love, for people to read and enjoy?" Thus, this blog has been born.


I won't keep you much longer; I'll simply say that I hope this blog will be a happy and bright place. I don't aim to pigeon-hole my blog into a particular genre - I want it to be a good ol' mix of everything, a jack-of-all-trades, if you will - and will blog about anything and everything that takes my fancy, be it fashion, beauty (of which I know very little - so be warned), food, or lifestyle. You're very welcome to hop onto my train of whimsical scribblings (blog title reference, hehe) for as long as you like. I'd be very grateful for the company!
