A Happy Accident - Iced Coffee Recipe!

Hey everybody!

I know, two posts in one day. Eager, right? Well, I just got the hang of embedding photos into my posts and I am aiming to take full advantage of this new skill in the future! I just got so darn excited that I can now add photos to posts that I HAD to upload another one!

Anyway, this post will just be a quickie (take that phrase any way you will) to show you a recipe for iced coffee which I created quite by accident today and ended up LOVING. My drink turned out so well (don't you just love my modesty?) that I decided to share it with you guys! It's quick, simple and so so yummy, just perfect for the summer, so here you go!

Iced Coffee

The results of my happy accident!

WARNING: if you are not a caffeine addict then you may not want to try out this recipe.

To make iced coffee for one person, you will need:

INGREDIENTS
Two teaspoons coffee granules
One teaspoon granulated sugar
350ml milk
Two scoops vanilla ice cream
A few drops of water
Ice cubes (optional)

EQUIPMENT
A blender
Teaspoon
Ice cream scoop
Small glass
Milkshake glass/tall glass

1. Add the scoops of ice cream to the blender using the ice cream scoop.
2. Add the milk to the blender.
3. In a small glass with a teaspoon, mix the coffee granules with the water until they are mostly dissolved.
4. Add the coffee mixture to the blender with the other ingredients.
5. Add the sugar to the blender.
6. Set your blender to "Smooth" setting and blend thoroughly until the coffee granules and sugar are fully dissolved.
7. Pour the drink into a tall glass, and add ice cubes to serve if you wish.
8. Enjoy!

So, there you have it! I'm super pleased with this recipe! It took me about ten minutes to knock up and tasted lovely (if I do say so myself). I'd love anyone reading this to try the recipe at home and do a review, or leave me a comment letting me know how your attempts turned out and whether you liked the drink or not.

This is the perfect time to be getting out the blender as iced coffees or slushie drinks are perfect for the summer months. This was a very happy accident indeed, and although t'was but a small thing, it made me feel good and brightened my spirits for the rest of the day. The power of coffee, eh?!

Thanks for reading you lovely people!
